Agency honors model performers
Twenty-four model performers and one special winner were awarded during the 2017/18 six months performance evaluation session of the Pharmaceuticals Fund and Supply Agency (PFSA). Agency imports cancer radiotherapy machines new for the country
Dr. Loko Abraham, General Director of Pharmaceuticals Fund and Supply Agency (PFSA), announced that the Agency is importing Varian Liner Accelerator Radiotherapy Machines for treating cancer.Dr. Loko stated that a total of six machines will be imported, out of which three have already arrived in the country. PFSA fits pharmaceuticals dissemination vehicles with GPS technology
Pharmaceutical Supply Management Information System Directress, Menfese Tadesse, announced that the Agency is fitting its vehicles that transport pharmaceuticals and medical equipments with GPS technology. The directress explained that the Agency did not have any mechanism in place to determine the location of its vehicles while on their dissemination duty. She went on to note that notifications by drivers were the only way for the Agency to know when problems arise during their journeys. Read More
